Beautiful vintage radio in valves, Philips mod. FCD 601, in wood and bachelitis, excellent very scenic and particular manufacture. The radio lights up but does not receive frequencies. Good general conditions of conservation with normal signs of time and small vein on bachelitis, as shown in photography. Completely worked and finished by hand in the first half of the 1900s. Ideal for passionate collectors or as a gift idea. 60 x 25 x 33 h. We would like to point out that in the photo shoot, any white areas are due to the reflection of the artificial lights of the special lights, used to best illuminate the item, which could cause a slight color variation in the photograph. You are purchasing a rare vintage Fada Tube Radio 254R. The art deco radio was originally a black bakelite model with no cracks or chips and was repainted this Chinese Red color. The chassis was completely restored and picks up local channels with the antenna wire extended. The photo shows the lit dial. The grill cloth is original. The cutout Fada letters in the back cover is a beautiful design feature with this gem. Although the radio runs I do not run radios in my collection. A new replacement cord has also been installed.
