Restored Westinghouse mini vintage tube radio, cira 1947. A nice clean simplistic style – built in 1946/47. As you can see in the pictures, the chocolate bakelite is nicely mottled through with black swirls. The cabinet itself is sound, with no breaks or cracks – it is really beautiful. This is a working radio ready to play, display and enjoy – the sound is clear and crisp with no hum. As with all my radios it is electrically sound – the tubes are strong, all of the original capacitors have been replaced and the cord end has been polarized. Also featuring: a vernier tuner, that gives very specific tuning (the dial moves slower than the knob); a mottled bakelite cabinet; with a eight-bar grill; one; a working dial light that shines right through the dial, the original knobs and back. The measurements are just: 8″ across, 4.5″ high and 4 wide. This radio will give years of good service.
