For your consideration is this gorgeous wooden RCA Victor tabletop tube radio – Little Master model. A nice clean simplistic Deco style – built in 1947/48. The rounded top and the sides are Honduras mahogany veneer and the front is solid ash or maple. The radio is a bit of a rarity because it is very uncommon to find a radio made from mahogany – this is what produces the luscious rusty red colour. The cabinet is sound with no breaks or cracks. The radio has been restored inside and out – the lacquer finish has been professionally restored to its original condition. You can see from the pictures – it is really beautiful. This is a working radio ready to play, display and enjoy – the sound is clear and crisp with no hum with its extra-large speaker. As with all my radios it is electrically sound – the tubes are strong, all the capacitors have been replaced and the cord has been replaced with one with a polarized plug. The distinctive cabinet is made from walnut veneers and a poplar grill – very pretty. The condition of the Deco-in-Wood wooden cabinet is excellent – it has been refinished using many coats of lacquers and looks gorgeous. This is a working radio ready to play, display and enjoy – the sound is clear and crisp with no hum. It plays well with excellent tone range, no hum, and dial lights, tuner and station preset push-buttons working as intended. A length of wire is included that extends the antenna lead. In the electronic restoration, all components were checked with any weak or defective ones replaced, which included 2 tubes, all paper and filter capacitors, 1 resistor, volume control switch, power cord, speaker and output transformer. Tuning circuits were aligned. Veneer was repaired as required. The favorite station push-buttons are set from the back with a small screwdriver; the far-right push-button engages manual tuning using the knob on the right. The wood finish displays nicely, as the pictures show. The set has original knobs, push-buttons, dial and the original grill cloth and the dimensions: 12 1/2″ wide x 8 1/2″ high x 6 1/2 deep. Offered for your consideration is this great little restored Telechron 5 tube clock radio – Model 8H59, built in 1948 The condition of this clock radio is very good. This is a working radio ready to play, display and enjoy – the clock and timer are in good working order – the Telechron clock movement was disassembled and lubricated. The clock escutcheon shows a bit of wear, the station numbers were long gone and this has resulted in a lowered price The wine case colour is a vinyl high end scratch resistant automotive product. A completely restored Jetsons era, Fleetwood, Model #58-54 tube radio, manufactured in 1954 It is considered a compact table model. It plays exceptionally well – clear and crisp with no hum. This is a working radio ready to play, display and enjoy – the sound is very good – it is playing as I write this. The case has has been restored and given a wine-coloured Tera Cotta type sandy finish coating of a high-end vinyl automotive product that is resistant to wear.
