This Beautiful and very rare in this condition radio is in great working order. The previous owner was a lifelong collector and restorer of old radios and watches, This solid mahogany wood cabinet is a beauty. Lovely grain and figuring and works great. Lights up and sound is crisp. The dials are also moving freely. The curtain burner, as there known resistive power cord has some fraying at the entrance of the box. That’s on you to know or look up. Case measures just 8 1/4 X 5 1/4 X 5 inches.

Rare Vintage Detrola model 106, just in from radio collectors estate. Has a great Art Deco look, and a beautiful dial area. Few chips on wood, see pictures, also two drilled holes on rear left and there is a split on right of the holes. I took back off to show insides, looks very complete to me, see pictures. Not sure why he drilled two holes, they seem to go to nowhere. I do not see a model number on unit. But did a web search and sure seems to be a model 106. Feel free to double check me. I also asked a radio group and they said 106. Overall very nice, as you can see. Again needs tune up, has good cord, the cord plug says “The Handy Plug” on it. Good back, and overall a great Art Deco look. Final sale, as found. Please see all pictures and use zoom feature. Often the pictures describe the item better than words.
