Very very minor Knicks on wood.. Maybe needs a antenna / cord? If you move the tuner the light will go off but Go’s right back on… I did not clean the inside of this.. Leaving for the professionals… It sounds like a station wants to come in. I had to relist do to the first picture! The converter does power on and the backlit dial works as it should. The wood cabinet is very solid and the finish is really, really nice! It measures approximately 17 3/4 by 12 1/4 by 10 1/4. As I understand it, these were made to add shortwave to your existing set. These would have been used with the early Philco cathedrals (70, 90, etc) or on top of an early console. This set was manufactured by the Philadelphia Storage Battery Company in Philadelphia, PA! Please be sure to check out my many other vintage radios that I have for sale! It doesn’t work anymore, but it still looks really cool. The finish has some streaks and spots and what looks like some old paint flecks. This was in my grandfather’s workshop for a long time so I’m guessing that’s where it got most of its character. The cardboard backer is intact but the edges are frayed.
