The Vintage 1940s FADA Radio 1000 is a rare find for collectors of antique radios. Made by Fada Radio & Electric Co. In New York, this United States-produced tube radio is a piece of history that turns on, making it a unique and valuable addition to any collection. The bakelite exterior with a butterscotch hue adds to its charm, giving it a vintage appeal that is hard to come by in this modern era. This vintage radio is sure to be a conversation starter and a prized possession for any collector of vintage electronics. The radio does turn on. The light goes on and the radio just makes a humming noise. The two front knobs are not the same. Also the clear plastic in front of the stations is missing not sure if it even had plastic there. There is a small what looks like a crack on lower right side and bottom showed clearly in pics. This radio was in our family for years. Please look at all pics. If there are any imperfections you can see them and they will be noted in description. Thank you and happy Ebaying!
