Once the new power cord was installed, we brought it up slowly on a variac and it played nicely! We were able to tune in several stations here in central Indiana. Cabinet looks REALLY nice featuring a beautiful butterscotch marbled color. The cabinet is nice and solid. I don’t see any cracks or chips but there may be a small imperfection in the upper left side of the cabinet. When I rub my hand over that area, it is smooth and I don’t really feel a crack so it may be an imperfection in the plastic… I believe that the radio is mostly all original I have been told that the knobs are not original and the grille may be from a newer model. The radio had been in storage for a number of years so I’m sure that it could use a good/thorough cleaning on the inside. It measures approximately 11″ wide by 5 1/2″ deep (not including the knobs) by 7 1/8 tall. If you would like to discuss further, please feel free to call me at 317.340.6170. VERY NICE LOOKING ATWATER KENT 10 BREADBOARD. THE MODEL IS 10, ?? THIS ONE IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION FOR ONE OF THESE, IT APPEARS TO BE ALL ORIGINAL. IT IS FRESH FROM AN ESTATE OF A DECADES LONG RADIO REPAIR AND COLLECTOR WHO PASSED. ALL I DID WAS DUSTED IT. THE WOOD ON THIS IS ALL ORIGINAL AND NOT REFINISHED. HAS THE RADIO TAG (SHOWN IN PIX). THE POWER SUPPLY WIRES PREDICTABLY ARE FRAYED SOMEWHAT, BUT ALL APPEAR TO BE PRESENT AND ALL ARE ORIGINAL. ALL KNOBS TURN AND THE WRITING ON THE VARIOUS KNOBS IS CLEAN AND VERY READABLE. I believe that this is the 3rd version of this set. The radio does power on as it should and both the over-dial light and the backlit dial light work as they should. I really like the interesting twist of the switched backlit dial light on this radio. I was not able to tune in any stations as I do not have an antenna to hook this up to but I did get intermittent static as I tuned the dial up and down. This vintage radio is in really nice condition. The cabinet is nice and solid and the finish looks nice as well. The radio measures approximately 16 3/4 by 12 by 22 1/4. Very nice Truetone model D-727 tube radio. This was found in a recent estate sale. The radio is in very nice cosmetic condition. The chassis is super clean. There are two cords hooked up to it. When the radio is plugged in it seems to power up but I cannot get any noise out of it. I have not tried to plug in the other cord. The wood cabinet is in nice condition too. Very nice antique Zenith 10S531 tube radio. This radio was found in a recent estate sale. It is in great playing condition. I was able to tune in several stations loud and clear. The radio is large, measuring 25″ wide X 16″ deep X 14 high. The finish is original and overall in good condition. There is a stain from what looks like a cup being set on the top. This is a stunning example of the vintage Emerson 50B-1 Valve (Tube) Radio, and it is in perfect working condition. It has terrific, clear sound and is a sheer pleasure to listen to. Though it is unrestored, it has been looked after very well through the decades. The cabinet is brilliant, including the Knobs, Station Dial and Speaker Grille. Inside it looks close to As-New Condition – see the Photos. Though the Speaker has three tiny tears near its circumference / edge, it works perfectly, and the sound is nice and clear. Here is still another great post war model from Zenith. The cabinet has been repainted with a color that is very close to the original factory finish. The repaint was necessary due to a small hairline crack on the top that I repaired but in the right light it can still be seen (I was unable to get it to show up in the photos). The brass trimmed knobs and back are original. The brass colored dial with red pointer and that distinctive Zenith badge give it an outstanding look. Check out the photos! FM uses the power cord and also has terminals on the back for an extra FM antenna. It easily picks up stations up and down the dial. Thoroughly bench tested for a minimum of ten days, this unique radio is ready for you to use and enjoy. Since it is fully restored you will want to listen to it every day! I went through the chassis and replaced all of the electrolytic (filter) capacitors, the major cause of hum. I then replaced all of the wax/paper capacitors. The resistors were then checked and any more than 20% of their original value were replaced. All of the tubes were tested using my Precision 612 tube tester and all of the seven tubes tested good. The volume control, tone control, band switch and tuning capacitor were lubed so they now operate smoothly and quietly. I also replaced the power cord with a polarized cord for your safety. Zenith used to use unreliable Selenium rectifiers in a lot of their radios. As they get old, these rectifiers tend to fail and burn up. I replaced it with a silicone diode for safety and reliability. I then carefully cleaned and polished the chassis to a pleasing luster. Lastly, the intermediate and radio frequency circuits were aligned to their peak utilizing my HP 8601A RF sweep generator and my Leader LS8050 oscilloscope. This will be a great addition to anyone’s collection. If you are in. Please wait for my invoice with the correct cost. PLEASE NOTE: I will pack it well so that it will arrive undamaged. THIS WEEK WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF HIGHLY DESIRABLE AND SELDOM SEEN RCA. A VERY LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE T9-10 TOMBSTONE BY RCA. THIS FINE EXAMPLE WHICH STILL RETAINS IT’S ORIGINAL FINISH MEASURES 22″ HIGH, 17″ WIDE AND 11 1/2 DEEP. THE ORIGINAL FINISH ON THIS RADIO IS VERY NICE WITH A SMALL CHIP ON THE UPPER FRONT FRONT CORNER AND A SMALL INDENT IN THE HARDWOOD JUST RIGHT OF THE CHIP. THE VENEER IS SOLID AND TIGHT AND RETAINS THE ORIGINAL LUSTRE WHICH MAKES IT SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL AND STILL RETAINS THE ORIGINAL RCA CABINET TAG ON THE LEFT BOTTOM CORNER OF THE CABINET. THIS RADIO HAS BEEN ELECTRONICALLY RESTORED BACK TO EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION AND HAS HAD A NEW CLOTH CORD INSTALLED TO MATCH THE ERA OF THE RADIO ITSELF. THE CHASSIS IS RUST FREE AND THIS RADIO PLAYS NICE AND STRONG WITH PERFECT CLARITY WITH A NICE BRIGHT GREEN TUNING EYE. A VERY WELL KEPT RADIO FOR 79 YEARS AND READY TO PLAY AND ENJOY.
