Each band has two tone settings, accomplished with the band switch. Dial lights up brightly. Chassis and speaker are very clean. Electronic restoration was performed, replacing capacitors, out of tolerance resistors, band alignment, and bad or marginal tubes. The finish was expertly restored using toned and clear lacquer. It works very well with just a short wire antenna (included). Factory original knobs, this radio gleams!! Auxiliary input cable was added so you can plug in an iPod, CD player, etc. And play audio through the radio. Radio measures approximately 15-1/2″H x 10″W x 9-1/2D.
