Not sure about the model. Both look the same to me. I think it was repainted because the RCA logo is missing from the front. It works but staticy between stations. The tuner may need cleaning. Not sure the rear cover belongs to this radio.
RCA Victor 5Q55 Tube Radio. Made in the USA. Tested and working, tunes into channels here in Seattle, WA. Dial light turns in, as pictured. On the top of the outer case there is a hairline crack, as pictured and pointed to. Not a common model to find! Has lots of life left! Thanks for considering ###128578. RCA Victor Tube Radio Tombstone Wooden T8-14 Vintage Antique 19 1/2″ 16″ 12. We have RCA Tube Radio. Powers On, but could not get a station to turn on. It could be user error or maybe the antenna needs to be attached (not sure how). May need some maintenance or repairs to work 100%. Measures: 19 1/2″ Tall x 16″ Wide x 12 Deep. Does show tons of wear – the wooden veneer is peeling off and parts are missing. Lots of scratches/marks from age and use. Has tape inside radio to hold the speaker/radio parts into frame. The “Debonair” is an obscure clock radio known for its 1950′s TV-style appearance and unique design. It is in unrestored condition with a working clock. The radio will need some work. When tested the radio hummed and now makes not noise. The on/off knob is atop the black with gold trim Polystyrene case. The clock radio turns on/off by twisting the plastic bezel covering the clock. Another great radio from my personal, smoke-free collection. About 11 “W x 8 “H x 7 D.
