This is a really nice set. I believe that both pieces are 100% original but please preview all of the pictures to determine the condition for yourself. The set is comprised of D-7 regenerative tuner-detector and an A-7 2-Stage audio amplifier. Both pieces feature very nice recessed lids that rest nicely in the tops of the cabinets. The cabinets have interesting rounded top corners something rather unique for that time period. Both cabinets are nice and solid and the finish looks great. There are a few imperfections like you might expect on pieces from this era but, all in all, these are in very nice condition. Both face panels look nice and all of the dials, switches, etc. Seem to be working as they should be. As you can see from the pictures, the interiors look clean but both pieces have been in storage for many years so I’m sure that they could use a good/thorough cleaning. I do not have the proper equipment to test these pieces any further. Each cabinet measures approximately 11 1/4″ W by 7 3/4″ D and 7′ H. Binding post nuts that are engraved with the connection information Battery B+, Battery A-, Phones, etc. And an enormous tuner that’s almost as high as the cabinet itself. Both pieces have dimpled Bakelite knobs and dials that give the them a fairly primitive appearance. Please be sure to preview all of the pictures so that you can determine the condition for yourself.
