His highly desirable Belmont does power on but there is no audio. The power cord has been cut where it exits the chassis so I temporarily attached a power cord and slowly powered the chassis up to 110 volts using a variac. The dial light came on and the tubes warmed up but there was no audio. No further testing was done. The electronics are for the most part original except for the electrolytics and the power / volume switch, which were replaced a long time ago. The chassis is nice, clean and unmanaged. The plaskon cabinet is in very nice condition with several naturally occurring minor stress lines / cracks here and there. These lines are nothing terrible, the cabinet is still solid. One of the chassis mounts on the cabinet has been chipped. The volume knob does have a sizable chip on it’s side. The grill cloths apear to be original. The chassis will be removed from the cabinet and both parts will be individually boxed. The knobs and the pushbuttons will be secured in the box with the cabinet. Both of the boxes will than be placed in a large outer box. If you have any questions or need additional pictures, please ask.
