The Vintage Tube Radio Guild Model 484 “The Spice Chest” is a collectible radio from the 1930s, manufactured in the United States by Guild. It has always been in my family, I’ve personally have had it for the past 40 years and it has been kept in a closet. I’ll be moving soon so I need to sell some items! This unique and stylish radio is known for its intricate design and functionality, making it a sought-after piece for collectors of vintage radios. A true treasure from yester-year! Excellent vintage condition means it has nothing broken or faulty, it will show some signs of age. Tested Working has some scratchiness in the controls {needs Cleaning} Looks Great for Age! Iconic Zenith Trans-Oceanic portable shortwave radio in vintage condition. Powers on and receives. One of the most collectible radios ever made – The Royalty of Radio. Shortwave band guide panel intact (Evening, Afternoon/Evening, All Day, Morning, Broadcast). All original push-button waveband selectors (red buttons present). Retractable telescoping antenna included. Flip-top lid with original “Royalty of Radio” medallion – intact. Original Zenith script nameplate on front. Bakelite carrying handle intact. Condition: Shows honest age and use. Leatherette has scuffs and scratches consistent with its age.

Vintage Grunow table radio. Very Art Deco shape with chrome grill. 12″l x 6″w x 7.25h. Left knob is on/off volume. Right knob is tuning. Dated 1934 on bottom (I don’t know if that’s correct or not). Also says it was rebuilt in 2007. I don’t know if that includes cabinet refinishing? Cabinet is in great shape nonetheless. Fabric in grill is also in fantastic shape, so that may also be a replacement. I don’t know. It has a long electric cord and also an antenna cord (I think that’s what it is).

Estimated age 1930/40s (90yrs). As you review photos, be sure to zoom in to see visual quality/condition. I took back cover off & took photos FADA mfg. Label reads Model #68 you can also see FADA stamp on internal components. Label reads FADA Electric Co. Also the metal chassis is stamped 68-1869. Beautiful two tone tiger stripes wood cabinet rare grain pattern. I like to point out imperfections on this old usage radio. The top wood has some age wood surface checking areas maybe the old varnished coating. I replace the back wood cover. Due to deterioration of original. Has some light age wear marks. Electric cord and plastic plug-in housing piece is also in very good condition. I plugged into electrical outlet. The dial light came on – humming sound – and when turning pointer, it picked up a few stations, but just static type noise. My radio collection is for display. I’m not a repair or restorer of these classical beauties. Where are you going to find one like this one, very scarce. X 9″High X 8″ Wide.

Model: Fiver Roamio (Model A-157). Country/Region of Manufacture: United States. Up for sale is a highly collectible, authentic 1937 Crosley Fiver Roamio (Model A-157) vintage automobile tube radio. This is an incredible find for classic car collectors, hot rod/rat rod builders, or vintage radio restoration hobbyists looking for a solid, complete core unit with beautiful natural patina. Dial & Glass: Excellent cosmetic condition. The original dial glass/plastic lens is completely intact with NO cracks. The red “Crosley Fiver Roamio” branding and original WLW station markings are incredibly sharp and perfectly legible. Controls & Knobs: Both original brown bakelite tuning knobs are present, structurally sound, and in great condition. The tuning mechanism is NOT seized -the knobs turn incredibly smoothly, and the dial needle moves across the face as it should. Housing: The heavy metal casing shows a wonderful authentic aged patina with expected surface wear, light rust, and dust from decades of storage. It has not been cleaned or polished, preserving its original historical character. In order to preserve the original 1930s internal components and transformers, it has not been hooked up to power. Please review all high-resolution photos carefully to judge the exact cosmetic condition for yourself. The item pictured is the exact item you will receive. Will be packed with extreme care using heavy bubble wrap to protect the dial glass and original knobs during transit.

Vintage 1940′s Zenith 6D510 Bakelite Long Distance Tube Radio – Tested & WORKS. Extremely RARE in this Condition. Distinctive Art Deco Style with a Bakelite Cabinet and Signature “Z” Knobs. Excellent Condition for its age (over 80years old).

Great original, after couple minutes warm up comes on, long telescoping inset antenna, no bends or breaks, case has mostly wear to finish a touch of stain, some wax or Vaseline rub would make look nice, no glass cover over tuner, tuner rotates moves good with original feel. Lots of radio noise, Didn’t get a voice but feel sure with a little attention would pull in… Old originals getting more Rare, great collector value… Thanks to all for looking…

This was an extremely popular radio when it was introduced in 30′s. This is still a fairly popular & desirable radio by today’s standards. I have taken many pictures so you may get a good view at this WONDERFUL Looking Radio & it Plays. The Tombstone cabinet on this Beauty appears to have been refinished by a previous owner. That has been re-cleaned & then polished which still Produces a Nice Soft sheen or shine. This cabinet is NICE & SPECTACULAR looking (NOT PERFECT) as there are a few Very light/minor nicks/imperfections & a section ov veneer missing on the left side! The round Scale is VERY COOL LOOKING & in Fantastic Condition with good graphics & a working dial light. The 4-Plastic Brown control knobs are in Fantastic Cosmetic Condition. The chassis is in good condition & it is a 5-tube unit with 4-controls & all controls have been lubricated & are in good working condition. The 4-controls are1-TONE 2-ON/OFF/VOLUME, 3-TUNING & 4th-BAND SWITCH. The tube line up is One-6B5, One-76, Two-6D6 & One-80. The electric cord is in great condition that can be safely plugged in. The chassis is in good condition that had all the controls lubricated & All Tube Pins & Sockets were cleaned. The Electric Cord is in Great condition.
