8″ x 4 1/2″ Radio Powers on, static but did play. Power cord is very checked/cracked.

In 1947 was the only portable radio with the selenium rectifier. The radio I got a station but has a loud static with it. When tuning the loud static quiet down some. The preset stations it has maybe it wont tune them in good where Im at or perhaps the cord since its is brittle. Probably still needs works because of the static. The radio is appx 8″X4 1/2″.
