Incredibly unique designed Stromberg Carlson 228 radio. I wish I knew the story of this radio, cannot find another one like it! Decorated with what looks like wooden matchsticks and a wooden carved heart on top, this person did an incredible job… Some wear all around including some flaking and missing wood, knobs are missing, some tears in the black mesh, wear on the plug in cord, inside contents are loose. I did plug it in and it started working, but then a fuse blew so I immediately unplugged from the wall. I assume the speaker is no longer good as well. Would be an absolutely incredible piece to restore!

This very rare Deco triple fin Majestic Radio from the 30′s is in Very Good Condition, original as found! The radio displays beautifully, the gloss brown bakelite cabinet has a subtle swirl pattern and is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The bullet style bakelite knobs are original and mechanically functional. Also has original bakelite back cover. 5 tubes and 1 ballast tube very clean ac/dc chassis. Radio does play with no distortion at listening volume, but a very slight hum at low volume. Approximate Overall Cabinet Dimensions: 11.25″ wide x 7.5″ high x 7 deep.
