RARE Vintage Vierman Radio Tonfunk model Westar WT-226? Radio Tested – Works. Preowned – great Vintage Condition. There is a red substance on top of casing, possibly wax? And Little bit of white paint on side of casing(see pics) which could be removed. This has been tested & powers on. All knobs move freely. I can get a radio station but when you turn the Channel knob, the needle does not move(was told it can easily be fixed, but I do not want to damage in any way). No tears, or rips. White FM button is missing(see pics). Appx 21 3/4″L x 13 3/4″H x 8 3/4W.

Update: New “Magic Eye” tuning tube installed. Nice West German Tube radio from the early 1960′s. Looks and sounds great. Sound is clear and strong from all speakers. All three work as I should. The buttons and knobs work, including the Bass and Treble dials. Dial lights are new LED’s. Nice shiny finish on it with some shellac crackling typical for its age. I replaced the filter capacitors and a few paper capacitors as you can see in the pictures. Nice and quiet after replacing the filter capacitors. It has about 3 hours of play time since it has been recapped. It has 5 tubes. 3 loudspeakers across the front, they all work. One oval woofer and two electrostatic tweeters. It measures 20.5 x 12.5 x 9.5 inch. It comes from a smoke free home.
