Hallicrafters SX-71 HAM tube radio receiver, a speaker and short wire antenna were connected, the radio powered on and reception was okay receiving broadcasts on two of the five bands with some static, the radio could use a detailed cleaning, one cap appears to be newer replacement and a previous owner added a small speaker to the inside lid, the speaker works okay, otherwise the radio appears to be all original and should be serviced due to age.
