Hallicrafters SX-11 HAM tube radio receiver, a speaker and short wire antenna were connected, the radio powered on and reception was good receiving on three of the five bands, the radio appears clean inside and out. The Crystal In/Out switch will need attention as it is intermittent as will the Tone Control, all other controls appear to function well, one knob is missing it’s plastic pointer, usually most if not all these are broken, otherwise all others look good, the eye tube does not light, unknown if the tube is bad or if there is another issue, the rectifier tube tube has been replaced with a solid state modification – see pics, otherwise the radio appears to still have all it’s original parts.
