This amp is in pretty good cosmetic condition. There are some scratches on the cabinet, but the faceplate looks great. It’s very clean inside, as you can hopefully see in the photos. Now, for the bad news. It was working fine and was putting out full power, or as close as we can with an amp that’s wired for 120VAC. It wasn’t until we brought it over to the photo booth that the I noticed the band switch felt a little funny. After playing with it for a few seconds, it completely gave out. I opened the amp up and found that the switch had completely broken in half (see photos). It’s a good amp, but obviously it cannot be used until the band switch has been replaced. Murdock Co antenna switch. Appears to be all original. Lever moves up and down, fits snugly into both sets of contacts. Appears to be pretty complete: one wire set screw is missing on the top contacts. 3 of the 4 grommets on the mounting holes of the base are missing. Base measures 10″ by 5 1/2″. Been sitting on an attic shelf for decades. The patina is as found, could use a little cleaning. We wiped some of the dust off to take pictures and will leave any further cleaning, if desired, to the new owner. Please check pictures as a guide to condition.
