Estate Finds Vintage Tube Radio by Schaub Standard Super Z with German Tuning Circuits look at photos for better description. I think the outside case is bakelite and I do not see any cracks or chips but does show its original patina. The inside is very dusty/dirty and with have original patina everything could use a good cleaning which I will leave up to you. I’m not an expert on the item so please look at all of the photos because this will be the item that you will be receiving. Radio looks to have original cord also but will need replaced because of its age and cracks in cord this is one reason I did not test item. Cosmetic wear is original patina, wear marks, scuffs or scratches, tiny nicks, stains, torn cloth on speaker, vintage age coloring, not sure on if any missing parts, cord cracked & missing cloth also broken end, tiny paint marks, back cover is loose and missing screws, dusty/dirty & could use a cleaning. I also do not know German so I have no clue on what it says on the back or where it’s made I’m assuming that it was made in Germany.

Vintage German made SCHAUB LORENZ GOLD SUPER W 36 table top tube radio. Measures 24″ long by 10″ high by 8 deep. Has multiple bands and sounds really good, is playing beside me as I list it. Don’t have antenna for SW but it comes. In beautiful on local bands and makes sound on other bands. All knobs are present and work, along with the Magic eye tuner light. Has light lifting of veneer but still displays very nice (see photo’s). All the gold striping is still intact very nice… US buyers will be by domestic. Beautiful wooden case on this table top radio from Germany. All The tubes light and when they are warmed up and ready the green light in the top left fills in green. It’s very cool! The Permanent Magnet Dynamic Loudspeaker – (moving coil) and bass/treble work great. It has excellent sound for the technology. There is an adapter for the plug to use for 110volt in USA.. The radio’s labels are in german, and the best I can find the buttons translated are. The interior could probably use cleaning but I will leave that for the new owner.
