Vintage Invicta Model 72 / 73 valve (tube) radio manufactured by Invicta Radio Ltd. The dial features multiple bands including Shortwave, Medium Wave, and Long Wave, with numerous European broadcast station markings. The cabinet has a classic mid-century design with a woven speaker grille and wood-tone finish. The rear panel confirms the model designation and indicates it was designed for 100-250 volt mains A. A nice candidate for vintage radio collectors or restoration enthusiasts.

Powers on and produces sound but does not tune to stations – likely needs capacitors. Radio is a very cool piece of MCM history. Was made by Motorola in 1957 in Chicago. The antenna is inside the radio. There is a small spot on the top of the radio where the plastic has oxidized, shown in photos. This radio is listed for repair. Someone with more technical knowledge-how than me can definitely get this working correctly again.

Gloritone dark wood circa vacumn tube radio 1930′s. The radio has pretty patterns in the wood with a dull finish. 20 1/4″ high by 13 1/16″ wide by 7 deep. A spot of paint on the front, the rest is light cosmetics. A radio whose chassics is upside down and tubes upside down, obviously made that way, inside needs further cleaning.
