Unit turns on and appears to be in some degree of functional order as I was receiving some audible feedback through my speaker, however I don’t have the right setup for this unit. Did a basic dim bulb test after cleaning all the pots and switches, and the unit fired up with no issues. I repair vintage audio equipment but I have no interest in units like these. Figured I’d pass the torch to someone more knowledgeable and who will appreciate this more than myself! Please refer to photos for exact details regarding this item. Welcome to our listing and thanks for visiting. After viewing this item, please check our other listings. Here is a vintage Kennedy radio. The cabinet is wood and measures about nineteen inches long, thirteen inches high and eight inches deep. The front may be bakelite. On the front it has “Type 110 Universal Receiver” and Serial No. Also has “Kennedy Equipment”, and near the bottom The Colin B. There are two screws or bolts on the front near the two top corners. Once loosened, the top of the cabinet lifts up. Please see the third photograph. Inside there looks like a socket for a tube, though there is no tube in the socket. The cabinet of the radio is in generally very good condition. We believe the finish is original. Some minor rub marks on the sides and the top. And a few minor scratches on the top, mainly in one corner. The exterior of the radio, and possibly the inside as well, would benefit from a gentle cleaning. Knobs and controls on front seem to turn freely. A nice radio for collectors. We hope the photographs above will help those who are interested. We will do our best to answer any questions. This is an antique vacuum tube radio receiver with a speaker. The radio’s dimensions are 8.27 inches in height, 9.84 inches in depth, and 16.54 inches in width. The speaker’s dimensions are 11.42 inches in height, 6.30 inches in depth, and 9.84 inches in width. Its operational status is unknown.

Bendix US Army tube radio receiver bc-624-c is an original piece from World War II, specifically the United States Army. It’s crusty but seems to be in good physical condition with all tubes intact.

This item is from before the war, but it is unknown what grade level it is from. There is a hole, possibly where a switch was located. The speaker part has a unique design and is considered rare. Due to its age, there are scratches, dirt, and chips.
