The Vintage RCA Victor 16T3 Tube Radio is a classic piece from 1938, featuring a push-button console for easy tuning. Made by RCA in the United States, this radio combines retro charm with functional features. It is in working condition pulling in several stations. There is a slight hum and some static. A good tuning maintenance would help clear up any noise. The dim bulb tester is showing no shorts in the electrical. With some wear like scratches on the case but overall still in really good condition.

POWER SUPLY HAS 2 X EZ81 RECTIFIER TUBES. BUT DUE TO AGE IT MAY REQUIRE SOME KIND OF REPAIR OR UPGRADE, POSSIBLY TUNER RE-ALIGNEMENT, OR BETTER TUBES OR WHAT-EVER. It plays well with excellent tone range, no hum, and dial lights, tuner and station preset push-buttons working as intended. A length of wire is included that extends the antenna lead. In the electronic restoration, all components were checked with any weak or defective ones replaced, which included 2 tubes, all paper and filter capacitors, 1 resistor, volume control switch, power cord, speaker and output transformer. Tuning circuits were aligned. Veneer was repaired as required. The favorite station push-buttons are set from the back with a small screwdriver; the far-right push-button engages manual tuning using the knob on the right. The wood finish displays nicely, as the pictures show. The set has original knobs, push-buttons, dial and the original grill cloth and the dimensions: 12 1/2″ wide x 8 1/2″ high x 6 1/2 deep. This model didn’t come with a back cover. Every vintage tube radio I sell has been thoroughly serviced – tubes tested, components checked and then the unit is lubricated and cleaned inside and out.
