This is a Hayakawa Denki Sharp vacuum tube radio PF-116 PAGODA. It was exported to the U. About 70 years ago. 1940′s Antique Radio. The design of this radio is so superb that it would be unthinkable today, such as the mother-of-pearl inlay decoration. It may have value as an interior decoration. Please note that it takes about 5 seconds to hear the sound after turning it on, and it can receive, but there is a slight buzzing sound when adjusting the volume. Please understand that this is a very old item and should be treated as junk. The power supply is AC100V frequency 60Hz from an outlet. Thank you for your interest in our item! Radio does work, I did have to repair the cord. It does need to be cleaned there are some paint speckles on the top but I was worried about damaging the paint so I was unwilling to attempt to clean it. Both volume and tuning knob are missing. The radio powers up but only hums. It needs to be recapped. The top artwork looks like a port was removed. The artwork on the front is still in nice shape.
