Various 1930′s Passenger Car. This radio is in good structural condition with no large dents or major rust damage. The assembly appears complete with the exception of the knobs. There is surface rust present but nothing that has caused any deep pitting or soft spots in the metal, it will clean up nicely with a trip to the sandblast cabinet. The chrome speaker grille has a small dent in the lower right corner and the chrome needs polished or restored. The enclosure measures 8-3/4″ wide, 7-1/4″ tall, and 7-3/4 deep. Gorgeous vintage 1931 General Motors Model 253 antique radio. Made in the USA. Rare and extremely ornate floor model on legs with fine woodwork throughout. All original including the vacuum tubes, tube covers and field coil speaker. The only thing that appears missing is the knob for the face cover. Power cord is frayed so radio has not been powered up or tested. Some marks on the top and sides.
