The radio is a rare Erla radio from 1939 21.5″ long 9 7/8″ deep an 11.5 high. Loud humming when plugging in. I’ll find a price in between on this one. Has a Jensen speaker. Offered here is a beautiful antique Stewart Warner Magic Dial tube radio, likely dating from the 1930s to 1950s. 17 ¾” W x 11 ½” H x 9 ½ D. Condition: This radio is untested due to a frayed power cord, which is visibly deteriorated in multiple places. Because of that, it has not been plugged in for safety reasons. Components: You can see several internal components and tubes through the back. One visible tube is a Sylvania 6F6G, marked with D9M, and has what appears to be its original paper label – consistent with the period. Back Tag: A slightly bent metal tag on the back reads Genuine Stewart Warner Craft Built Cabinet. Knobs: All four original front knobs are present, which is rare for a radio of this era. Update: New “Magic Eye” tuning tube installed. Nice West German Tube radio from the early 1960′s. Looks and sounds great. Sound is clear and strong from all speakers. All three work as I should. The buttons and knobs work, including the Bass and Treble dials. Dial lights are new LED’s. Nice shiny finish on it with some shellac crackling typical for its age. I replaced the filter capacitors and a few paper capacitors as you can see in the pictures. Nice and quiet after replacing the filter capacitors. It has about 3 hours of play time since it has been recapped. It has 5 tubes. 3 loudspeakers across the front, they all work. One oval woofer and two electrostatic tweeters. It measures 20.5 x 12.5 x 9.5 inch. It comes from a smoke free home.
