This antique radio receiver is a one-of-a-kind piece that exudes classic elegance. Its unique design and pre-1930 time period manufactured make it a must-have for collectors. Although the radio is untested, it has what looks like the original interior parts. This is certainly a classic looking radio especially the interior. The front looks like some kind of piece of either Bakelite or phenolic or something along those lines. It has some dried drips that run across the front. There’s a crack across the bottom right corner and in the extreme right corner. When you turn the knobs, it moves those circular adjusters.

NICE LOOKING RADIO AS FOUND SEE PICTURES FOR COSMETIC CONDITION. LIGHTS AND MAKES LOAD HUM BUT YOU CAN STILL BARELY MAKE OUT STATIONS TALKING. THIS IS WITH NO ANTENNA AND LIVING IN THE COUNTRY. PROBABLY WILL NEED RECAPPING OR WHAT EVER YOU CALL IT. VERY NICE RADIO THE TUNER DIAL TURNS.

Vintage Emerson Model 520 catalin radio that is great looking! The catalin body has great swirling all around and has been polished up lightly with Novus, which is made for polishing plastic and catalin. In the light the brown, light brown and hint of green in the catalin shows very well – this radio has exceptional coloring. The body has no chips or cracks and minimal scratches that are difficult to detect. In respect to its functionality, the radio is working – receiving stations readily, but with some background hum. The knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well. The power cord is in excellent condition. The dial cover is a bit loose and will need to be affixed better. Great catalin radio for the beginner or for someone who does not want to pay in the high end range. Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.
