I was told that this set was in working order. I have not tested the tubes either. This is a really nice set, as you can see from the many pictures. Please be sure to preview all of the pictures so that you can determine the condition for yourself. The metal cabinet is nice and solid and the lid fits nicely! This radio features a really unique finish that still looks good. There are some minor scratches, etc. Like you might expect on a piece from this era. There is a piece of corner trim missing off of the back/right corner. All of the dials and knobs appear to be in excellent working condition. The dial cord/wire needs some adjustment as it has come off it’s track. This should be an easy fix. The interior/chassis looks pretty clean given it’s age and use. There is some dust form being in storage for many years so I’m sure that it could use a good/thorough cleaning.
