Receiver is in great condition! There are no major damages, however does have minor scratches and scuffs. For the best indicator of condition, please see photos that are provided! Unit was tested and works great! Will need an alignment and calibration. Tubes were tested good. Measures approximately 25# 17″ x 11.5″ x 7. Lafayette tube radio from the early 40′s I think maybe 50′s because of the tv jack in the back. There are two light bulbs inside that are burnt out. It is working speaker sounds good and the wood body is in good condition.

I can’t find a model number anywhere on the outside. Is rather dusty from years of being in a basement, but I didn’t want to try cleaning with anything harsh for fear of damaging the Bakelite. The knob on the left doesn’t seem to do anything but is supposed to select between MS and RS. Measures 7 inches wide, 4 inches deep, 4.5 inches tall.

Very clean inside and out with microphone however it does not power up. I pulled it out of the case for inspection and the fuse looks good. The power supply cord fits but it was from another Lafayette transceiver. I notice there are 11 pins coming out the back and only 9 wired connections inside the plug. Two of the holes are empty. Very possible its the wrong power supply and not wired for this particular model. Might be an easy fix if you work on these. Perfect for parts or restoration.
