There’s only one early transistor in this unit. So it’s not a hybrid type. Circa 1963 – 1964. Tested with power cord not included. Typical wear consistent with age and/or use. It might need adjustments, repair, or maintenance. Considering it’s age. Measure 9-1/8″ x 15-3/4″ and about 4-1/2 deep. Weighs 7.5 lbs. Saved from a Mid Century Modern home in NY prior to demolition. VINTAGE L6 INTERCOM WOODEN INTER-COMMUNICATION TUBE RADIOS RCA VICTOR. Comes in a box that says L6. Not sure the brand. Could be RCA or WEBSTER. See photos for condition. They both have all the tubes. Looks like they could be restored. One cable is dry rotted but has the plug. The other power cable is also dry rotted but is missing the plug. Some of the electronic part/s may continue for another 50 years without need of replacement and some electronic part/s may fail a few days after you start using the item. Speaker wires are black & white. It has always been clean kept & well cared for. Me Uncle was meticulous about everything he owned. Since it was passed onto meself, it has remained properly safely packed away in a dry Smoker-Free environment since new approx. Me Uncle used it while downstairs in his shop to call upstairs to the house & vice-versa. I recall it working well as a youngster meself. I’ve not wired the two pieces together meself to fully test all functions today but both pieces do appear in very good condition. Comes complete: Base unit with power cord, Receiver unit with speaker cables, with clean easily read original paper label-tag on bottom with riser angle brackets as depicted in listings photos.
