Vintage 1930s Emerson / Ingraham Case Wood Table Top Radio Model BF 204. Case is in nice condition with some wear to finish and some scratches here & there. But still presentable (see pictures). Plastic dial cover still intact – has some light scratches and a drip mark. Bottom has Imgraham label. Has antenna attached & original cord. When I turned it on I got some cracklimg sounds when turning knobs and the 2 tubes on right were lit (see picture). Don’t know what it takes to make it work correctly.

This vintage tube radio from Emerson Ingraham is a rare find for collectors of antique electronics. Made in the United States, this piece is a great addition to any collection of radios from the 1930-49 era. The radio features a classic design and is in great working condition. It is perfect for anyone who loves the sound of vintage music or wants to add a unique piece of history to their home decor. A BEAUTIFUL WORKING OLD EMERSON RADIO. LOOKS GOOD AND IT WORKS. HERE’S A BLAST FROM THE PAST, AN EMERSON TABLE RADIO. IT’S SMALL COMPARED TO THE BIG TUBE SETS OF THE 1930′S. I BELIEVE THIS IS EITHER THE CJ 207 OR CJ 217 AND IT’S CALLED THE “LITTLE MIRACLE” BECAUSE IT PERFORMED BETTER THAN MANY OF THE BIG BOYS. MEASURING ON 10″ X 6″ X 4 IT PACKED A LOT OF STUFF INTO THAT SMALL BOX. SEVERAL CAPS HAVE BEEN REPLACED INCLUDING THE ELECTROLYTICS. I PULLED IN SEVERAL LOCAL STATIONS WITH IT. I SUSPECT WITH A LONG WIRE ANTENNA IT WOULD DO EVEN BETTER. IT NEEDS FOUR FEET ON IT BUT THOSE ARE EASILY OBTAINABLE AT HOME DEPOT OR FROM YOU PARTS BOX.

Here’s a tiny, beautiful Emerson AX-217 “Little Miracle” wood radio that dates to the 1930′s. The radio’s Ingraham wood cabinet was restored by Tom Hayes, and its two-tone gradient finish is the result of multiple coats of varnish applied, polished and buffed out. Clean, crisp dial and clean knobs. Dial pointer is working properly. Chassis is in good shape, with minimal oxidation. Measures approximately 8 1/2″ wide by 5 1/2″ wide by 4 deep.

Offered for sale is a very nice unrestored 1938 Emerson R-156 tombstone tube radio. Case is in VG condition with no cracks or damage. Chassis looks complete with original power cord. The unit does warm up, but I couldn’t receive any signal. Emerson used the R-156 model designation for several radios, each one with different cabinets, but utilizing the same chassis. These sets perform well and have great sensitivity and volume across the dial. Measures 12-1/2″H x 9-1/2″W x 5D. This radio will be professionally packed and double boxed.
