Picked this up at a local sale. Beautiful cabinet – I plugged it in and it lights up and plays – a lot of crackling sound. It needs an Antennae for sure. I plugged it in and works, and its crackles a lot. I have video of the sound. Not sure all the buttons work. Assume it needs work. It’s a large heavy radio.

The FM band tunes in several stations and sounds very good. This unit looks pretty nice. It is heavy, weighing 15.98 pounds according to my digital scales, as it sits. The internal workings, as well as the cabinet will need to be cleaned. The model number may be 3586, not positive, since I did not find the model number on the radio. I found some information on the internet that showed two different years of manufacture. One was 1959, the other1963.

An excellent working tube radio made by Graetz of Germany for RCA in 1953 with following specs. Superhet, ZF/IF, 460/10700 KHz with 7 tubes. Wave bands, BC, SWx2, FM (88-108 MHz). Power supply, 110-120 V, AC, 60 Hz, 55W power consumption. FM built in loop antenna. “Magic eye” tuning indicator tube. Bass and Treble tone control. External speaker connection, 5 Ohm. Record player connection that would accept any audio signal source. Wooden cabinet, table model with push buttons. Similar to Graetz Melodia model for European market.
