Vintage Zenith Trans Oceanic Wave Magnet H500 Tube Radio W/ Operating Guide Read. Good cosmetic condition for its age. Has some scuffs and scratches but overall in good condition. I plug the unit in and I hear a very light hum, you have to get your ear very close to the speaker to hear this. I’m not sure what’s wrong with this unit.

Vintage Zenith Model H500 Chassis 5H40 Trans-Oceanic portable radio that is in good working condition. Both knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well. The antenna extends properly and the interior is very clean. There is a bit of a musty smell from being stored away in a basement for decades. Cosmetically, the radio is in good condition, with some wear in spots to the cloth body. There are also a few cracks around the dial frame – which are shown in the photos. Also includes the original operating guide, an advertising brochure, schematics and a short wave station chart. Power cord is in excellent condition.
