This is a really cool looking amplifier. I love the transmitting tube up front behind the glass window, very neat. This one looks good for it’s age. The while paint is original and aside from a few chips around the edges, it looks great! There is one very small dent on the front panel (up/left from the power switch). It’s very dusty inside but should clean up well. It’s also missing two of the rubber feet on the bottom. This will make a great restoration piece! This equipment came from the estate of a ham operator and has been tucked away in a storage unit for approximately 15 years. We’ve made the decision to sell this older equipment 100% as-is and untested. There are a few reasons for this, but it essentially comes down to the fact that they almost always need some level of service and it’s simply not cost effective to pay our technician to spend time going through them. It may or may not need components replaced (caps, resistors, tubes, etc), controls cleaned/lubricated, alignment, and so on. Unless you are qualified and capable of working on this unit yourself, or are willing to pay a qualified individual to do the work for you, we suggest you revisit the idea of whether this is the right equipment for you.
