I wish I could tell you more about it, but I can not. I see the “101″s with the letters after it. But not this one. Maybe someone can enlighten me. It turns on and lights up on the one side. This unit was set up on a table and looked to be in use at one time. Please ask questions or comment. We are not experts in this field. Offered here for your consideration is a pretty rare color combination in this Estate Fresh Bendix Model 526. I have had this radio before but it still a lot more uncommon than the catalin version of this one. I also think it is nice that it has survived damage as a polystyrene set with bakelite knobs. It is estate fresh and could use a good cleaning (which I will leave up to the new owner). Lots of swirling and the swirling or marbleizing all over this radio. I did not find any cracks at all on this radio, however the cord is cut and it is electronically untested. This set also has the original back with a nice dial glass and it plays. I can not test and would still recommend having it serviced and cleaning the cabinet. This is a nice set, so don’t miss out. This radio measures approximately 11″ by 7.5″ by 7.5 Good Luck and don’t be afraid to make offers. Ask any and all questions and I will be happy to oblige. This Atwater Kent 82 was found in a barn in New England. No information is available on the condition of the radio beyond what is pictured. I just completed the restoration on this gorgeous little 1939 philco tube radio. The cabinet is beautiful to the eye and would certainly qualify for any collection or your office/home. The radio has 6 fully functional push buttons that can be adjusted by using the individual trimmers in the rear of the radio. The knobs and the station call sign bracket have been polished and sealed. All of the capacitors have been replaced. A chassis alignment performed for excellent performance. And all other components checked/adjusted as needed. The speaker is excellent with no vibration or distortions. There also is a new ac power cord, new dial lens/cover, and new grill cloth. The is a little bit of pointer scratching on the dial face just to let you know. The radio plays and sounds very good with no issues. You will need to attach 14-16 feet of wire to the antenna pigtail in the rear of the radio for proper performance. Reception and signal strength will vary from different locations.
