Yes it works, powers on and warms up. Volume works and are able to bring channels in but there is a significant amount of background noise. Can tune in a few stations but the audio is garbled. Someone with a talent for repairing these radios could probably change one or two tubes and get this unit working perfectly but the basic unit does work.
