This is an estate find, I don’t usually sell radios but this is so special! The glass dial cover does have a small piece in the left hand corner. Also, as you can see the material cover is as is. The cord is pretty rough so I have not plugged it in. Let me know if you have any questions. I believe that this is a Model 652. I’m not Guaranteeing anything to work or not. Inside dirty and rust? . Cord hass been replaced. Could only hear low faint hum. Also as seen wires look to be not connected to left inside. Very large and heavy. Pictures show best description. Will pack well and insure.

Radio only softly hums when turned on, so it will need some work to get it functioning. All of the tubes tested good on my Eico Model 625 tube tester. The chassis is very clean with no evidence of rust or corrosion. The power cord is in good condition, still plyable. The finish on the radio is all original and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax and the burled walnut front presents quite well. The only minor defect is a small veneer sliver like chip at the top of the radio at the front edge that is difficult to detect. The cabinet is labeled “Superior” on the front and numbered 15870 on the rear. I could not find this radio listed on Radio Museum or Radio Attic’s web sites. Perhaps someone with more knowledge than I can determine the maker. Quite unique in that it is a short version of a tombstone radio. Unit stands 10.5″ tall, 12″ wide and 7 deep. Grill cloth has a tiny tear on the lower right and is a bit loose. Both knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well. The bands are selected by a knob in the rear of the radio. Great looking radio to add to your collection. Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.

This Could Be Yours Today! 10-139 Crosley Radio Corp. 12.9″ W x 6.9″ H x 7 D. This is the highly collectible Aqua 1950′s Crosley Retro “Color Radio”. This radio is an icon from the 1950′s with an automotive inspired design. Crosley made this radio in several colors to match the interior home colors for every room: White, Maroon, Chartreuse, Black, Light Green, and Aqua. Aqua is a color not seen very often, making it very sought after! Photos show the great Aqua color! Chrome plated tuning band, dial, and knobs appear to be in really good condition…… Don’t see any. Aqua color on tuning band numbers is still visible. Knobs and dial move when turned. Case has some scratches. And signs of wear. Radio shows signs of wear on right and left underside and footpads are worn (see photos). I’m not sure the white pads are original. Overall, case is in good condition. This is a nice looking radio! Please view all photos carefully as they are part of the description and condition. I did not plug the radio in to see if it works. Didn’t want to take the chance of shorting out the tubes. I’ll leave that up to the new owner. Cord is not frayed, however, I don’t believe this is the original cord. Item will be packed properly.

There are no cracks or chips in the case. It powers on and the knobs function as they should. I gave it a wipe down, but it could use a thorough dusting.
