Up for sale here is this vintage Edison R6 tube amplifier. This is a fairly rare amplifier. The Edison R6 radio console was made around 1930 very briefly and was very expensive. The Edison Radio Company stopped producing radios by the end of 1930, so this is most likely from 1929/1930. This is the amplifier section of that console. I do not have any other parts of the console for sale, sorry. The ID badge is not attached to the amplifier–it is loose. This uses 3 tubes, which are NOT included, sorry–2 Type 45 output tubes and one Type 80 rectifier. This is a one-channel mono amplifier. It will need rebuilding before it is ready to use. This will be an incredible amp once it is rebuilt. Cosmetic condition is pretty good, and the chassis looks really nice. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask.
