Vintage Antique 1940s Philco Transitone Boomerang Radio 49-501 (BROKEN COVER). This item is a rare find as you can see the covers are broken and I just taped it together but still missing some pieces to properly be covered.

Rare 1942 Model 6R631. Description: Broadcast Receiver, 6 Tube Chassis, Superhet ZF/IF 455 kHz, RF Stage, AC 115V, 40 Watts, Wooden Case, Push Buttons, Bakelite Knobs, Built-In Antenna, Back Cover. Condition: We believe this is an rare original Zenith from 1942. A beautiful WWII radio. The clean chassis was removed and sent to Mike’s Radio Restorations for a check up. The tubes were tested as good. The original caps/resistors all were in spec and the alignment is spot on. We did replace the dial cover. The dial string is in tact, the original speaker is in great condition and sounds great. Grill cloth looks great. This radio easily tunes in stations from across California and the push button work great. The wooden case we believe has the original finish. This is absolutely a beautiful radio.
