I got this at a radio shop estate sale. But looking in the inside it’s in pretty good condition on the inside doesn’t seem like anything is broke or destroyed. I’m sure there are things that need to be replaced on the inside but that’s like any vintage item.

This early model Mexico was manufactured from mid to late 1950s and came from what I believe it was originally out of a Mercedes 300SL, but not positive. Includes original external 12 v power amplifier radio and amp serial numbers match. Chassis is nice face and bezel are nice. Wiring harness is uncut. No outward sign of water damage. Working condition unknown however hook to car battery and it lights up, and you should expect to have it serviced / rebuilt. VINTAGE Becker GRAND PRIX Tube Radio SLIM FACE. This unit is quite nice besides a few cracks and typical fading of the dial scale. I tested it with another radios amp and it works great. The only item that doesn’t work on it is the auto-seek “wonderbar” button. Manual tuning works fine. These are hard to come by and were used in the early to mid 60′s in chassis such as the w111 w112 and w100. If you need Becker radios feel free to contact me.
