This is a vintage Grundig 2260 tube radio, made in Germany. Cabinet shows normal wear, scuffs, and age-related marks. Interior appears complete with original tubes (see photos). Power cord is not included. Untested – may require cleaning, repair, or electronic restoration. Original Grundig badge and model number “2260″ on front. Large speaker for rich vintage sound. Classic mid-century German radio styling. This unit has not been plugged in or tested. Please assume it will need servicing or restoration before use. Thank you for looking.

I was able to receive stations on both bands quite readily. The volume was strong and there was minimal background noise. All of the knobs turn smoothly and properly, but the dial indicator is not functioning and will need to be restrung. The finish on the radio is all original and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax. There is some wear, most notably on the black trim and there is a small veneer chip on the left top rear corner of the radio (see photos). The chassis is clean, with no evidence of rust and the original power cord is in excellent condition, still flexible. The grill cloth is still intact, with no damage. Unique radio that will be a fine addition to your collection. Do not hesitate to make an offer all will be considered.
