The Rare Confetti Bakelite Vintage 1941 Admiral Aeroscope Tube Radio is a unique and collectible piece of history. This Admiral works great, powers on, lights up & is able to play and receive stations. It could use a little deoxit & a professional restoration but physically is in excellent shape. Virtually no scratches or scrapes on the chassis and looks like it just came out of the showroom yesterday.

Offered for sale is a pre-war, 1939 Admiral table radio, one of the “Aeroscope” models. I believe this is model 162 3-5L, although there are 161 and 163 models that look identical to this (see Radiomuseum listings). The numbering may reflect the color. This is a black bakelite case. The radio is not working and needs repair. The dial tuner knob/dial needle is engaged and turns easily. The unit appears to have its original tubes, but I did not dis-assemble the unit more than is shown in the photos.
