I personally checked it out plays good it has a missing knob the glass is cracked no back. A couple lose wires but other than that a nice playing radio. T h e light works on the station selection. Antique Admiral shortwave radio measures 15 inches long x 8 3/4 inches tall x 7 inches deep. Radio hums and has some static. Knob on right is not the original knob, but that is what came with it. The speaker cover is missing and it looks like somebody painted the wood where the speaker is black. I do not see where there is a model number, but I found on internet where it is A-31 and 1936. The only marking is Admiral which is on front. Would make a nice project to get working. Wood box has minor ding and blemishes, not bad for the age.
