For your consideration today is a very nice RCA model 85T1. This radio was built in the year 1936. It is 13.5″ long x 8.25″ tall x 7.25 deep. The cabinet has been refinished and it is in excellent condition and very solid. There is a new grill cloth placed in the nice “wrap around” speaker grill. The radio has a new AC power cord, new dial lamp, new dial cover, new filter/audio capacitors. The remaining electrical components were tested and replaced if needed. You will need to attach a few feet of wire to the radio antenna in the rear of the radio in order for the radio to perform correctly. Your signal strength and location will determine the overall performance of the radio. The radio does receive stations and does play. The tuning capacitor in this radio is very sensitive/strong.
