This is a pretty nice looking amp! It has some sort of dried up material on the side (the brown stuff), but this really does flake right off and cleans up easily. Other than that and the typical scuffs and scratches you would expect from a piece over 60 years old, it looks pretty good, particularly from the front! The amp uses a 5U4GB rectifier, two 6L6G power tubes (matching Sylvanias), and two 6SC7 tubes. This unit is believed to have not been used in many years, likely decades, and with this in mind we have made no attempt to power-on this unit or test in any way. EH Scott Radio Laboratories Vintage 6L6G Tube Power Amplifier for 16A or Project. This EH Scott amplifier, serial number 11697, is in fantastic condition. It’s a little dusty from storage, but thankfully it was stored in a dry climate so there is practically no corrosion. We spent about ten minutes cleaning, but with some time and chrome polish, it would really look amazing. There is practically no pitting in chrome whatsoever. The amp uses two 6L6G, two 5U4G, one 6SN7GT, one, 6J5, one VR150, one 6H6, two 6SH7, and two 6SG7. Please note that no tubes are included. We hope this unti will find it’s way to a good home where it will receive the attention it deserves! We have made no attempt to power-on this unit or test in any way.
