Vintage Zenith Model 6-S-229 Tombstone radio that has been electronically restored, with new caps throughout, and is in good working condition. Radio has broadcast, shortwave and police bands. The finish on the radio is all original and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax. Grill cloth is in great shape, with no rips or holes and the cloth power cord is a period replacement that is in excellent condition. All of the knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions as well. Unfortunately only the “fast moving” indicator is present. The slower moving indicator which will inficate the station is not present. A replacement can easily be obtained. Great radio to add to your collection. Obviously the cord has been replaced and I’m getting no noise out of it. As I look into the back I can see the dial light is on and three or four of the tubes are lighting up but two other tubes are not. That is all I know. Pictures tell you the rest.
