This is the classic Philco Tube Radio, Model 48-482 dating from the late 1940s. At the time it was considered “the king” of post war radios. CONDITION PLEASE READ: Please look at the photos to get a sense of the condition of this radio. It is NOT WORKING. I’m not a radio fixer but all its parts appear to be included. You will see in pic #9 various knobs and screws and also what I believe is the radio antenna. On the front, the buttons push in and out and the dials turn. All the tubes appear to be present and intact. It has no power cord. Aesthetically this radio shows definite signs of age and wear as most vintage items do. Examine all the pictures closely. Zoom in & out to get a good sense of it’s exact condition: a picture tells a thousand words. The item photos serve as a document as to its condition. You will receive the exact radio pictured here. I’m not an electrician or radio fixer, but I’m guessing the restoration of this radio will be a labor of love for someone who knows or is learning about such things.
