Offered here is an original Philco 40-135, a 1940 wooden tabletop tube radio featuring factory push-button tuning, warm pre-war styling, and classic Philco craftsmanship. This model is popular with collectors and restorers due to its elegant cabinet lines and reliable chassis design. Cabinet: Original wood cabinet with attractive grain and gentle patina. Exhibits normal age-related wear-light scuffs, finish blemishes, or small marks-but retains solid structural integrity. The plastic covering the dial has been removed because of the typical yellowing and shrinkage. There are resources on the internet for making (and possibly purchasing) replacements.
