For your consideration today is the ever so popular and highly collectable 1939 Philco tube radio model 40-125. This little fella comes in at 11″ long x7.5″ tall x 6.5 deep. I just completed the restoration and the radio is beautiful. There are 6 adjustable push buttons, vertical speaker grill, carrying handle, and a bracket to retain the station call letters. I have installed new filter and audio capacitors, checked all resistors for tolerances, cleaned and lubed all switches and cleaned the chassis. The tubes have been tested as well and are strong performers. There is a new dial cover, new dial lamp, new grill cloth, and new AC power cord. The dial face and pointer are excellent. The station call letter bracket, knobs, and handle have been polished and resealed. Also, there are new station call letters added. There is aback that has a little damage but it does its job. The radio plays wonderful and there are no issues. This is a great little radio that you will love. Note: By design, the far right push button must be pushed in to allow you to use the knob to surf the dial for local stations.
