Vintage Philco Model 37-89 Cathedral radio that is a good candidate for restoration. I was not able to receive anything on the shortwave band, but that is not unusual for this area, as the signal is not strong. The finish on the radio is all original and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax, but it is showing wear on the front and there is a veneer chip on the left front edge that has been patched with wood putty. The power cord is in good condition. The grill cloth is in good condition, with a small tear on the right side. All of the knobs turn smoothly and properly, but the bottom center knob is not original. The dial indicator functions properly as well, but the plastic dial indicator is broken and has been taped together. The chassis does have some surface rust, but nothing out of the ordinary. Great looking cathedral radio to add to your collection. Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.
