Cord is frayed, but it works. Back is not attached. Light scuffs/scratches on case. Paint specs on top and sides as displayed in photos. Needs to be cleaned.

Touched my antenna to the terminal and is working good. A couple indentation spots on the top of the radio and one in the front top edge. Some light edge wear at the bottom edging of the radio, some lines of cracks in the frame of the circle and other wear see pictures. Cord and cloth are good. The radio looks to be in excellent shape. Not sure of the model number there is a 13-2880 on the chassis. Cant find the radio on worth point or google just the mini cathedral that looks similar.

AC, 10″ Wide, 14″ Tall, 8 Deep. There is not any Internet information on this radio or its manufacture. The circuitry is of an old design which uses tube numbers 58, 58 47 & 80. My guess is that it was made in 1931 or earlier. The dial numbers go from 0 to 100, with 0 being at 1600Khz and 100 at 540Khz. The radio receives stations well from 1600 to 900Khz, below this will need a longer antenna wire. This radio was repaired, aligned and tested by Toms Antique Radio Repair. It was run contentiously for many hours to make sure that it will last a long time for you. All the power supply and signal capacitors have been replaced. A 1.5 amp fast blow fuse was added for your protection. This is a nice looking and working radio with a unknown history. My guess is that it is very rare.

Wow, what a stunningly beautiful mantle radio! It is very rare – I cannot locate another like it anywhere, in spite of a very comprehensive search. The cabinet is just gorgeous with corner columns, rounded sides and overhanging top. The back of it has a brass marker “Premier” and the chassis is an Air King model 50. Nonetheless, it is just a very special and very stately looking radio. With a TRF design and four tubes, it receives well and sounds great too. Only the top of the cabinet was redone. The lacquer finish was removed and the original stain was rejuvenated. The top was then redone with seven new coats of clear lacquer. The remainder of the cabinet was cleaned and given three hand rubbed coats of quality wax. The dial graphics are crisp and clear and the dial glass is in excellent condition. The dazzling and exquisite grill cloth is original and in excellent condition. I believe the Bakelite knobs to be original. The power cord is new, having replaced the old “curtain burner” cord and using the original Bakelite plug. Felt pads were added to the bottom to protect your furniture. Electronically, the chassis was restored, cleaned and serviced, with all paper and electrolytic capacitors replaced. Tubes and resistors were replaced as needed. All controls and contacts were detail cleaned and lubricated. Wiring and other components were replaced as needed. The radio was aligned, peaked and tuned for optimal reception and quality of sound using an external antenna. This gentle and delightful radio shows superb styling and craftsmanship. It is a must for the collector, and a high quality accent or focal piece for the discerning decorator.
